As a young girl growing up in a small southern town, hunting wildlife was not out of the norm for me. I was taught gun safety at a young age and received ongoing training as a necessity. My dad taught me the importance of being aware of your surroundings at all times, parking in a well-lit area, and keeping an eye on the exit signs.
Sadly, with crime surging around the country and so many cities and communities in the “lockdown” mode, it’s more important than ever to consider our personal security as well as security for our places of worship and business.
Being a young woman now in my twenties, I am so grateful to be a part of the OSA team, knowing my coworkers and business partners see the need for safety in all areas from education and training, cctv, access controls, fencing, lighting, and other security services.
OSA is centered around a team approach which is so important; however, OSA values the experience of each person and their individual role as a team member. Our former government, military, and local professionals have more than 125 plus years of combined experience in security, risk assessment, and continuity planning. Our threat analysis and assessment team members come from the U.S. Military, Spec Ops, FBI, Department of Justice, local PDs – SWAT. They possess a strong commitment to ensure that every assessment and project is completed and handled according to the specifications agreed upon, and frankly they are the best of the best…but I am biased.
As a young professional in 2021, it has been the biggest blessing to learn from the best and be able to make a difference by helping others prepare for the unexpected, whether it is a church, mall, school, or commercial business. Personally I have learned a lot more about security, of safety and the need to be aware and smart. I enjoy being a part of spreading our message and onboarding new clients!
Hi, I am Hannah Free, a junior marketing major at Auburn University! I chose marketing because I love being involved in behind the scenes of sales. Knowing what makes people interested in a product and figuring out what the deciding factor is makes it very fun and intriguing for me.
I grew up in Selma, Alabama where I enjoy being outdoors with my dog Luna in my free time. Something fun about me is that I was born on my aunt and uncle’s wedding day, so you could say we are all very close!!
I cannot wait to be apart of the OSA team and have the opportunity to increase my marketing skill set and learn more about all things safety, security and technology.
