Tim Carter

Tim Carter is a U.S. Army and Mississippi Army National Guard veteran serving as a Field Artillery Officer. His military duties include Field Artillery Fire Support positions and Field Artillery Fire Direction Officer, Executive Officer, Firing Battery Commander and S-4 Logistics Officer during Operation Desert Storm/Desert Shield during his 26-year career. Simultaneously, Tim served in Public Education in Mississippi as a classroom teacher, Head Coach in multiple sports, Athletic Director, Assistant Principal, Principal, Director of School Safety, Buildings and Grounds and Transportation. His final service in education was as the Chief Operations Officer for a public School District prior to his retirement with 32 years in Public Education. Since 2015, Tim has conducted School Safety Assessments, Facility Assessments and written and trained teams in Threat Assessment Protocols and Active Shooter Training. In addition, Tim has worked with School Board Policy and assisting K-12 School Districts in all areas of developing a safe and orderly school district.

Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education Social Studies from Mississippi State University, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Mississippi State, University. He is also a graduate of the Command and General Staff War College.
